Prime For Life Court Ordered DUI Education Course
Prime For Life is an evidence-based education program designed to help individuals understand and reduce their risks related to alcohol and drug use. This course is often court-ordered for DUI, drug-related offenses, or other substance use violations.
Prime For Life students will learn useful, practical tools in a nonjudgmental environment by a certified instructor. Rather than assigning labels or one-size-fits-all solutions, class members will learn to evaluate the risk levels of different ways to engage with alcohol and drugs, and how to choose low-to-no risk options.
Classes are 16 Hours in length and are taught over two days, as required by the state of Utah. This course is approved and licensed by the Utah Department of Health and Human Services to meet the requirements of the court. The cost for the program ia $240 per student.
Classes are available online, taught live through a zoom-style virtual classroom. You must attend and remain visible for all hours of the training in order to receive a certificate of completion. The course is taught by Dwight Hurst through Infinite Arches Recovery.
